Insurances and Payments
Does insurance cover Dental Sleep Appliances?
In most cases your medical insurance (not dental insurance) may provide some coverage if you have had a sleep study, been diagnosed with OSA, and meet your specific insurance plan's medical necessity requirements.
We do not participate with any medical plans as a in-network provider. We are considered out-of-network. As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claims electronically for you and start any pre-authorizations that may be needed. We will collect for treatment upfront from you and your insurance will reimburse you directly for any services.
What will my insurance pay?
This will vary from plan to plan. Since we do not have contracted rates with any insurance plans we would not be able to give you an exact quote but would be happy to supply you with the codes that we bill to insurance so that you may contact them directly. We are not able to provide insurance estimates over the phone. The dental device is considered a DME, Durable Medical Equipment. In most cases, all costs will be applied to your deductible and/or co-insurance.
Are you “in-network” with my insurance?
We are out-of-network with all insurance plans.
Do you accept Medicare?
We do file Medicare claims and if you meet their medical necessity requirements they will cover a portion of the cost and reimburse you directly. We are considered a "non-participating" Medicare provider. This means non-participating providers haven't signed an agreement to accept assignment rates for all Medicare-covered services.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept CareCredit, credit cards, checks, and cash.
If you have additional questions please call us. We are always happy to assist you.
